Meet Dr. Kate Meads, Chief of Staff

Katherine “Kate” DiTulio Meads, DVM, is the Chief of Staff of Total Veterinary Care in Buford, GA. She is a graduate of Berry College where she earned her Bachelors of Animal Science, and the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She has experience working with a variety of animals and is dedicated to providing high-quality medicine and support to her patients and their parents.

Kate always knew she’d be a vet as a child, thanks in part to her grandmother reading her Dr. Doolittle stories. She’s passionate about animals both in and out of the clinic and has a seven-year-old Golden Retriever named Kylie that she adopted during her first year of veterinary school. Originally from Memphis, TN, this self-professed coffee addict, enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, hiking, kayaking and learning to play the guitar.
