Meet Dr. Kate Meads, Chief of Staff
Katherine “Kate” DiTulio Meads, DVM, is the Chief of Staff of Total Veterinary Care in Buford, GA. She is a graduate of Berry College where she earned her Bachelors of Animal Science, and the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She has experience working with a variety of animals and is dedicated to providing high-quality medicine and support to her patients and their parents.
Kate always knew she’d be a vet as a child, thanks in part to her grandmother reading her Dr. Doolittle stories. She’s passionate about animals both in and out of the clinic and has a seven-year-old Golden Retriever named Kylie that she adopted during her first year of veterinary school. Originally from Memphis, TN, this self-professed coffee addict, enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, hiking, kayaking and learning to play the guitar.
Meet Dr. Emily Hadaway
Emily Hadaway, DVM, is a Georgia native who grew up nearby in Milton. She attended the University of Georgia where she received a BSA in biological science, then stayed to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May 2015.
Following graduation, she completed a one-year internship in equine medicine and surgery at Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center in Cave Creek, Arizona, before moving back to Georgia. She has a background in both equine and small animal medicine, but is excited to be focusing on small animal care here at Total Veterinary Care. Her interests include small animal surgery, emergency medicine and preventative care.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends, going to the lake, riding jet skis, horseback riding, and hiking with her two dogs Kip and Ziva.
Meet Dr. Michele Harris
