Jamie Dion is a Veterinary Technician with our Buford, Georgia hospital. With an education in animal care and over a decade of professional experience, clients of TVC know that their pets are in capable hands with Jamie.
“I have a love and passion for helping animals,” she says. “I’m so glad that I chose this career because it is incredibly rewarding.” And Jamie has a particular fondness for laboratory testing at the clinic. “It’s very interesting to take a closer peek into what is ailing an animal versus what can only be seen with the naked eye. It’s quite fascinating.”
Along with her veterinary clinic experience, Jamie has also worked for shelters and with rescues, extending her care and comfort to animals even further. At home, she has her own furry brood that includes a black cat, Nermal, a rag doll cat, Fat Boy, and a Pit Bull, Hannibal. She hopes to someday own a farm, where she can grow her brood even further to include cattle, chickens, pigs, and goats.
When Jamie isn’t helping four-legged fur balls and their parents, she enjoys spending time with her animals and indulging in her hobby of pyrography (wood burning).
